I found out about Vocaloid in 2011 when I got my first iPod. I grew up with a speech impediment and odd vocal development, and I was able to relate to the unique flavor of vocals that the Vocal Synths at the time offered.

My favorite v-synth for a long time was GUMI; her ability to sing rock music seemed unmatched, and I was absolutely ecstatic when she got her English voicebank. I lacked a natural talent for art but wished to be a Producer nonetheless over these years. When GUMI V6 was announced, my interest grew again, but so did my interest in finding new music. I began finding many smaller and newer artists making music I truly enjoyed. Soon the idea for VRP began to take shape as something I can do and learn v-synth production along the way.

My favorite Vocal Synth producers are Maretu, m18k, Pinocchio P, Utsu P, and Nashimoto Ui. My favorite synths are GUMI, MAYU, Akari, Chika, and Fukase. I like most genres of music but my favorites are industrial, new wave, electro swing, breakcore, and j-rock.

I've been a longtime fan of Vocaloid for 14 years. Vocal synths, and music in general, are special interests of mine . Recently I've started collecting the physical boxes of Vocaloids (from LEON to Unity chan) and I hope someday to make my own songs.

I'm an experimental metal Voca-P who loves cats a little bit.

Vocaloid has always held a special place in my heart since I first discovered it by the late scene community in around 2014. As I went through high school I ended up getting really into vocal synths and yearned to become a producer. I got Eleanor Forte and she is still really special to me. Thanks to Vocaloid I’m studying music in college and have written and released numerous songs. It brings me passion in life and my best friends.

Hi, huge Vocaloid fan here! Vocaloid and the culture surrounding it has helped me explore new interests since 2014. It's the reason I like to draw and code today! Interestingly, it was warrior cats AMVs that led me to vocaloid.... (huge fan of cats too).

Although my first song was Kokoro by Toraboruta, Hatsune Miku has the deepest hold on my heart. I published my first artwork online for her 8th anniversary and have celebrated every year since. I also enjoy many other vocal synths too ♡ The entire process of voice synthesis interests me, especially when it's unrealistic. Because of Vocaloid inspired me, I've been pursuing a degree in computer science so I can learn more about how it works. Furthermore, Vocaloid and the rich history of songs has connected me with many people~ It brings me a lot joy and I hope it does for others too!

An ambitious guy working as a graphic designer for the Voca-Radio project. Frenchy is a soft spoken artist that was drawn into the Vocaloid fandom 7 years ago by the song "Panda Hero". Ever since then he's been hitting it off, eventually learning to make his own covers and experiencing how hard it is to catch a following. That's where the Voca-Radio project came in, allowing for a creative outlet while supporting the community, artists big and small.
